Our garden is a real haven for fun. There are trees and bushes, sand and grass to play in. It is full of interesting corners and hide a-ways.

The children make their own pathways and dens in the garden, it is a great place to begin to socialise, have adventures and begin imaginative play.

We follow the Foundation Stage curriculum and are well supported by our teaching staff and advisors in ensuring  that all areas of early learning are given time and space.

Many of our children only speak English as a second language.

We work with parents and carers to ensure that communication is helpful as they start to understand  a further  language.

How we work in the Nursery School

The nursery is organised so that the children have key worker groups and in our open plan setting, different areas are defined for group use through out the day.

Areas are accessible for all the children and we have  an exciting range of equipment and resources which we are constantly changing to make each day a new experience.

Within the main body of the nursery there are separate rooms, which are generally used as  quiet spaces or for more directed learning. There is also a separate area for computers and new ways of interactive learning.
